I made my third sale on Etsy!

Really, I hate to brag, but I just had to tell SOMEONE! I made my 3rd sale on Etsy!!

Granted, one of them was to my dear Aunt, but hey, it still counts! A fellow blogger purchased my "Laundry" sign and posted a pic. for everyone to see *blushes... The laundry sign is the one you see above. I'm just loving this Etsy thing, and I have great motivation to paint,paint,paint!

Finally made "the leap" into selling online!

Well, it's a new year, and one of my many New Years Resolutions is to take my business more seriously! Sure, I have been participating in Craft shows and local fairs for several years, but I REALLY want to put my heart and soul into this thing that I love.

I recently opened my very own shop on Etsy (http://www.gemmy200.etsy.com/) and sold my first item while I was listing it! Talk about a stroke for the ego! I am very excited to be a part of the Etsy community...everyone is so nice (and talented!)

Starting over with new ratings has been tough. I was selling on Ebay for awhile, and had almost 300 transactions (all 100% mind you) so I feel like such a "newbie" with my little shop, but I am enjoying every second of it!
